A database produced from the digitization and indexation of the historical collections of rubbings of Germanic blind-tooled bindings from the 15th and 16th centuries. Kept in the Württembergische Landesbibliothek (Stuttgart), the Herzog August Bibliothek (Wolfenbüttel), the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek (Munich), as well as the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin-Preußischer Kulturbesitz, these rubbings are mainly from the corpus organized by Ernst Kyriss, Ilse Schunke and Ferdinand Geldner.
